प्रह्लादजी के मन में किसी भी विषय के प्रति आसक्ति नहीं थी। उनके सारे पाप धुल गए थे। वे एक कुलीन और विद्वान पंडित थे। वे अभिमान और अहंकार से रहित थे। वे धर्म के नियमों का पालन करने में सदैव तत्पर रहते थे और शुद्ध सत्वगुण में स्थित थे। वे निन्दा और स्तुति को समान मानते थे, अपने मन और इंद्रियों को वश में रखते थे और एकांत स्थान में रहते थे। उन्हें जीवों की उत्पत्ति और विनाश का ज्ञान था। जब उन्हें कोई अप्रिय वस्तु मिलती थी, तब वे क्रोधित होते थे और जब उन्हें कोई प्रिय वस्तु मिलती थी, तब वे प्रसन्न नहीं होते थे। मिट्टी के ढेले और सोने, दोनों के प्रति उनकी दृष्टि एक जैसी थी। वे ज्ञानस्वरूप कल्याणकारी ईश्वर के ध्यान में स्थिर और धैर्यवान थे। ईश्वर के अस्तित्व में उनकी पूर्ण आस्था थी। उन्हें परवरस्वरूप ब्रह्म का पूर्ण ज्ञान था। वे समस्त जीवों में सर्वज्ञ, सर्वज्ञ और सर्वज्ञ थे। वे भगवान नारायण के प्रिय भक्त थे और सदैव उनके चिंतन में तत्पर रहते थे। हिरण्यकशिपुनन्दन प्रह्लादजी को एकान्त में बैठे हुए भगवान श्री हरिका का ध्यान करते देख इन्द्र उनकी बुद्धि और विचार जानने की इच्छा से उनके पास गए और इस प्रकार बोले - 4-8॥
Prahladji had no attachment towards any subject in his mind. All his sins were washed away. He was a noble and learned scholar. He was devoid of pride and ego. He was always ready to follow the rules of religion and was situated in pure Sattva Guna. He considered criticism and praise equal, controlled his mind and senses and lived in a secluded place. He had knowledge of the origin and destruction of living creatures. They were angry when they received something unloved and were not happy when they received something they loved. He had the same vision for both the lump of clay and the gold. He was stable and patient in meditation of the beneficent God in the form of knowledge. He had complete faith in the existence of God. He had complete knowledge of Brahma in the form of Paravarswar. He was omniscient, omniscient and omniscient among all the living beings. He was a dear devotee of Lord Narayana and was always ready to think about him. Seeing Hiranyakshipunandan Prahladji sitting alone and meditating on God Shri Harika, Indra went near him with the desire to know his wisdom and thoughts and said thus - 4-8॥
