अथ ते लक्ष्यते बुद्धि: समा बालजनैरिह।
आत्मानं मन्यमान: सन् श्रेय: किमिह मन्यसे॥ १०॥
अनुवाद
तुम्हारी बुद्धि बालक की भाँति राग-द्वेष से रहित प्रतीत होती है। तुम आत्मा का अनुभव करते हो, इसीलिए तुम्हारी ऐसी स्थिति है; अतः मैं तुमसे पूछता हूँ कि इस संसार में आत्मज्ञान का सर्वोत्तम साधन तुम क्या समझते हो?॥10॥
‘Your intellect appears to be free from attachment and aversion like that of a child. You experience the Self, that is why you are in such a state; hence I ask you, what do you consider to be the best means of self-knowledge in this world?॥10॥
