भीष्म उवाच
उक्त्वैवं स महाप्राज्ञ: सर्वज्ञानैकभाजन:।
पुत्रानुत्पाद्य तस्यां च यज्ञै: संतर्प्य देवता:॥
आत्मयोगपरो नित्यं निर्द्वन्द्वो निष्परिग्रह:।
अनुवाद
भीष्मजी कहते हैं - राजन! ऐसा उपदेश देकर सम्पूर्ण ज्ञान के एकमात्र भण्डार महामुनि श्वेतकेतु ने सुवर्चला के गर्भ से अनेक पुत्रों को जन्म दिया। यज्ञों के द्वारा देवताओं को संतुष्ट किया; फिर सदैव आत्म-ध्यान में तत्पर रहकर वे द्वन्द्व और आसक्ति से रहित हो गये।
Bhishmaji says – King! By giving such advice, the great sage Shwetaketu, the only treasure of complete knowledge, gave birth to many sons from the womb of Suvarchala. Satisfied the gods through sacrifices; Then, by always remaining engaged in self-meditation, he became free from conflict and attachment.
