वह परम पुरुष जिनकी उपस्थिति में यह समस्त ब्रह्माण्ड संचालित होता है। जिन आँखों से यह ब्रह्माण्ड देखता है, जिन कानों से यह सुनता है, जिन त्वचा से यह स्पर्श करता है, जिन नासिका से यह सूँघता है, जिन जिह्वा से यह स्वाद लेता है और जिन सांसारिक नेत्रों से यह समस्त क्रियाएँ करता है, उनसे मेरा कोई संबंध नहीं है। इसीलिए मैं अंधा हूँ। अतः हे महापुरुष, कृपया मुझे स्वीकार करें।'
‘The Supreme Being in whose presence this entire universe functions. I have no relation with the eyes through which this universe sees, ears through which it hears, skin through which it touches, nose through which it smells, tongue through which it tastes and the worldly eye through which it carries out all this activity.
