ब्रह्मर्षि देवल का नाम सर्वत्र प्रसिद्ध है। वे समस्त शास्त्रों के ज्ञाता, कर्मनिष्ठ, धार्मिक तथा सदैव देवताओं और ब्राह्मणों की पूजा करने वाले थे।
The name of Brahmarshi Deval is famous everywhere. He was proficient in the knowledge of all the scriptures, devoted to action, religious and always worshipped the gods and Brahmins.
