तेजस को संयम से नियंत्रित किया जाता है। जो व्यक्ति संयम से रहित है, तथा रजोगुणी और तीव्र कामी है, वह उस तेजस को धारण नहीं कर सकता और काम, क्रोध आदि अनेक शत्रुओं को सदैव अपने से पृथक अनुभव करता है। ॥6॥
Tejas is held in check by self-control. The person who lacks control, and is in the mode of passion and intense lust, cannot hold on to that Tejas and always feels many enemies like lust, anger, etc., as separate from himself. ॥ 6॥
