दम' शक्ति को बढ़ाता है। 'दम' को परम पवित्र कहा गया है। जो व्यक्ति अपने मन और इंद्रियों को वश में कर लेता है, वह पापों और भय से मुक्त होकर 'महत्' पद को प्राप्त करता है। ॥4॥
'Dam' increases the energy. 'Dam' is said to be the most sacred. A person who controls his mind and senses becomes free from sins and fear and attains the state of 'Mahat'. ॥ 4॥
