दुर्गमं सर्वभूतानां प्रापयन् मोदते सुखी॥ १३॥
सर्वभूतहिते युक्तो न स्म यो द्विषते जनम्।
महाह्रद इवाक्षोभ्य: प्रज्ञातृप्त: प्रसीदति॥ १४॥
अनुवाद
दीन-दुखी मनुष्य सब प्राणियों को दुर्लभ वस्तुएँ देकर तथा दूसरों को सुख पहुँचाकर स्वयं सुखी और प्रसन्न हो जाता है। जो सब प्राणियों के कल्याण में लगा रहता है और किसी के प्रति द्वेष नहीं रखता, वह विशाल जलाशय के समान गहरा है। उसके मन में कभी क्रोध नहीं होता और वह ज्ञान के आनन्द से सदैव संतुष्ट और प्रसन्न रहता है। 13-14॥
The oppressed man himself becomes happy and cheerful by giving rare things to all living beings and by bringing happiness to others. One who is engaged in the welfare of all living beings and does not bear hatred towards anyone, is as deep as a huge reservoir. There is never any anger in his mind and he always remains satisfied and happy with the joy of knowledge. 13-14॥
