कर्णौ शब्दश्च चित्तं च त्रय: श्रवणसंग्रहे।
तथा स्पर्शे तथा रूपे तथैव रसगन्धयो:॥ २३॥
अनुवाद
श्रवण काल में श्रोता, शब्दरूपी कर्ता और मनरूपी कर्ता इन इन्द्रियों का संयोग होता है। इसी प्रकार स्पर्श, रूप, रस और गन्ध के अनुभव में भी इन्द्रिय, कर्ता और मन का संयोग अपेक्षित है। 23॥
In the period of listening, there is a combination of the senses like listener, the subject in the form of words and the subject in the form of mind. Similarly, during the experience of touch, form, taste and smell also a combination of senses, subject and mind is expected. 23॥
