पृथक्त्वात् सम्प्रयोगाच्च नासूयुर्वेद शाश्वतम्।
स तयोरपवर्गज्ञो वीतरागो विमुच्यते॥ २६॥
अनुवाद
शास्त्रों में कहीं आत्मा और परमात्मा की पृथकता और कहीं उनकी एकता बताने वाले कथन हैं। इन परस्पर द्वन्द्वों को देखकर, दोष न मानकर, शाश्वत ज्ञान प्राप्त करना चाहिए। जो उन दो प्रकार के शब्दों का अर्थ समझ लेता है और मोक्ष के तत्त्व को जान लेता है, वह आसक्तिरहित पुरुष संसार के बंधन से मुक्त हो जाता है। 26॥
Somewhere in the scriptures, there are statements declaring the separateness of the soul and the Supreme Soul and somewhere else their unity. Seeing these mutual conflicts, one should attain eternal knowledge without looking guilty. The one who understands the meaning of those two types of words and knows the essence of salvation, that person who is free from attachment becomes free from the bondage of the world. 26॥
