साकार पदार्थ उत्पत्ति से पूर्व और प्रलय के पश्चात् भी निराकार ही रहते हैं। इस नियम से जैसे बुद्धिमान लोग उनके निराकार होने का निश्चय करते हैं और जैसे विद्वान पुरुष सूर्य के उदय और अस्त होने से अदृश्य सूर्य की गति का अनुमान करते हैं, वैसे ही बुद्धिमान पुरुष बुद्धिरूपी दीपक के द्वारा उस अतीन्द्रिय-अतीत ब्रह्म को अनुभव करते हैं और इस समीपस्थ दृश्य पदार्थ को ज्ञानरूपी ईश्वर में लीन करना चाहते हैं। 9-10॥
Formful objects remain formless before their origin and after their destruction. By this rule, just as wise people determine their formlessness and just as learned men estimate the movement of the invisible Sun through the rising and setting of the Sun, in the same way wise men, through the lamp of the intellect, realize the beyond-sensible Brahman and want to merge this nearby visible phenomenon into God in the form of knowledge. 9-10॥
