When the bodily conscious soul leaves the body, then the part of the sky in that body completely merges into the sky, the part of the air into the air, the part of the fire into the fire, the part of the water into the water and the part of the earth into the earth. But the elements like listeners, dependent on these various ghosts, do not dissolve but remain engaged in their respective activities and go to another body and take shelter of the five ghosts. 19॥
