यथा यथा कर्मगुणं फलार्थी
करोत्ययं कर्मफले निविष्ट:।
तथा तथायं गुणसम्प्रयुक्त:
शुभाशुभं कर्मफलं भुनक्ति॥ २३॥ |

| जो मनुष्य कर्मों के फल की इच्छा करता है, वह कर्मों के फल में आसक्त होकर सात्त्विक, राजसिक या तामसिक कर्म करता है; उस कर्म के गुणों से प्रेरित होकर उसे उस कर्म का अच्छा या बुरा फल भोगना पड़ता है ॥23॥ |
