जीव अपने शरीर से जो भी अच्छे या बुरे कर्म करता है, उन कर्मों का फल वह शरीर में आसक्त रहते हुए भोगता है; क्योंकि शरीर ही वह स्थान है जहाँ मनुष्य सुख-दुःख का अनुभव करता है ॥ 21॥
Whatever good or bad deeds a living being performs with its body, it experiences the consequences of those deeds while it is attached to the body; because the body is the place where one experiences happiness and sorrow. ॥ 21॥
