When the night is over and the veil of darkness is removed, just as the eye that motivates one to walk, equipped with its bright form, sees the thorns etc. lying on the road which are worth abandoning, similarly, when the veil of attachment is removed, the intellect, equipped with the light of knowledge, sees the evil deeds which are worth abandoning. ॥16॥
