न शरीराश्रितो जीवस्तस्मिन् नष्टे प्रणश्यति।

शरीर में रहने वाला जीव नष्ट होने पर भी नष्ट नहीं होता। जैसे लकड़ी पर आश्रित अग्नि जल जाने पर भी दिखाई देती है, वैसे ही जीव का अस्तित्व भी प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव में आता है॥2॥
The living being that lives in the body is not destroyed even when it is destroyed. Just as the fire that is dependent on the firewood is seen even after it is burnt, similarly the existence of the living being is also directly experienced.॥2॥
