महर्षि! जीव पहले तो दोनों कानों से किसी की बात सुनता है; किन्तु यदि मन चंचल हो, तो सुनकर भी नहीं सुनता; अतः मन के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी जीव का अस्तित्व मानना व्यर्थ है॥15॥
Maharshi! A living being first listens to what someone says with both ears; but if the mind is restless, it does not listen even after hearing; therefore, it is futile to believe in the existence of any living being other than the mind.॥ 15॥
