काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, मद, मत्सर और ममता - ये देहधारियों के सात शत्रु हैं। इनमें कामरूपी सातवाँ शत्रु सबसे प्रबल है। इस महाशत्रु काम को इन सब सहित नष्ट करके मैं अविनाशी ब्रह्मपुर में निवास करूँगा और राजा के समान सुखी रहूँगा।॥ 52॥
‘Lust, anger, greed, delusion, pride, envy and affection—these are the seven enemies of embodied beings. Of these, the seventh enemy in the form of lust is the strongest. After destroying this great enemy lust along with all of them, I will reside in the indestructible Brahmapur and be happy like a king.’॥ 52॥
