काम! यह धन गंगा के सुहावने जल के समान काम को ही बढ़ाता है। मैं भली-भाँति जान गया हूँ कि यह काम की वृद्धि ही मेरे नाश का कारण है; अतः आप मेरे शरीर को त्याग दीजिए॥ 28॥
‘Kama! This wealth, like the delicious water of the Ganges, only increases desire. I have come to know very well that this increase in desire is the cause of my destruction; therefore, please leave my body.॥ 28॥
