पृथुस्तूत्पादयामास धनुराद्यमरिंदम:।
तेनेयं पृथिवी दुग्धा सस्यानि सुबहून्यपि।

| शत्रुदमन पृथु ने ही सर्वप्रथम धनुष उत्पन्न किया था और उन्होंने ही इस पृथ्वी से नाना प्रकार की फसलें (अन्न के बीज) उगाई थीं। उन वेणकुमार पृथु ने पहले की भाँति ही धर्मपूर्वक इस पृथ्वी की रक्षा की। 86। |
