स संदीप्तं महत् कृत्वा तमाह शरणागतम्।
प्रतापय सुविश्रब्ध: स्वगात्राण्यकुतोभय:॥ १२॥
अनुवाद
इस प्रकार अग्नि प्रज्वलित करके कबूतर ने शरणागत अतिथि से कहा - "भाई! अब तुम्हें कोई भय नहीं है। तुम निश्चिंत होकर अग्नि से अपने शरीर के सब अंगों को गर्म कर सकते हो।" ॥12॥
Having lit the fire in this manner, the pigeon said to the guest who had taken refuge, "Brother! Now you have nothing to fear. You can warm all your body parts with the fire without any worry." ॥12॥
