युधिष्ठिर! राजा को यहाँ-वहाँ विभिन्न प्रकार के लोगों से भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार की विद्या सीखनी चाहिए। उसे किसी एक धर्म पर अड़ा नहीं रहना चाहिए। जिस राजा में यह बुद्धि होती है, वह संकट के समय अपनी रक्षा का उपाय खोज लेता है। ॥4॥
Yudhishthira! A king should learn different kinds of wisdom from different kinds of people here and there. He should not stick to one branch of religion. A king who has this wisdom in times of crisis finds a way to protect himself. ॥ 4॥
