बुद्धिमान लोमश! क्या कारण है कि जाल से मुक्त होकर भी आप कृतघ्नतावश अपने शत्रु को प्रसन्न करने का कोई निश्चित उपाय ढूँढ़ने लगे हैं? जहाँ तक उपकार चुकाने का प्रश्न है, हमारी स्थिति भी वैसी ही है। यदि मैंने आपको संकट से मुक्त किया है, तो आपने भी मुझे उसी विपत्ति से बचाया है; फिर मैं कुछ नहीं करता, फिर आप उपकार चुकाने के लिए इतने अधीर क्यों हैं?॥147 1/2॥
‘Wise Lomash! What is the reason that after being freed from the net, you have started looking for a sure way to please your enemy out of gratitude? As far as the question of repaying the favor is concerned, our situation is the same.
