भीष्म कहते हैं - राजन! प्राचीन वस्तुओं को जानने वाले विद्वान् लोग इस विषय में धर्म का उपदेश करते हैं, वह इस प्रकार है - ज्ञानी क्षत्रिय के लिए धर्म और अर्थ - ये दो ही प्रत्यक्ष हैं ॥1॥
Bhishma says - King! The scholars who have knowledge of the ancient things, preach about Dharma in this matter, it is as follows - For a knowledgeable Kshatriya, Dharma and Artha - only these two are evident. ॥ 1॥
