ऋत्विक् पुरोहिताचार्यान् सत्कृतानभिसत्कृतान्।
न ब्राह्मणान् घातयीत दोषान् प्राप्नोति घातयन्॥ ९॥
अनुवाद
चाहे कितनी ही मुसीबत क्यों न आए, पुरोहितों, शिक्षकों और ब्राह्मणों को, चाहे वे धनी हों या न हों, धन लेकर कष्ट नहीं देना चाहिए। यदि राजा उनका धन छीनकर उन्हें कष्ट देता है, तो वह पाप का भागी होता है।
No matter how much trouble one may face, one should not trouble the priests, teachers and Brahmins, whether they are well-off or not, by taking money from them. If the king troubles them by taking away their wealth, then he is guilty of sin.
