अथवा दुर्बल राजा को शत्रुओं को क्षमा करने के लिए अपने समस्त विरोधियों को संतुष्ट करना चाहिए, उनमें विश्वास उत्पन्न करना चाहिए और फिर उनसे युद्ध बंद करने की प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए। साथ ही, उनमें विश्वास उत्पन्न करने का उपाय भी खोजना चाहिए॥13॥
Or, a weak king should, in order to bring about leniency in the enemy, satisfy all his opponents, establish their trust in them and then entreat them to stop the war. He should also find a way to gain trust in them.॥ 13॥
