मन को केवल अपनी बुद्धि से ही वश में किया जा सकता है। मन्त्री आदि अन्य लोगों की बुद्धि की सहायता से कर्तव्य का निर्णय होता है और शास्त्रीय बुद्धि से आत्म-सम्मान की प्राप्ति होती है। यही शास्त्रों का उद्देश्य है ॥18॥
The mind can be controlled only by one's intellect. With the help of the intelligence of others like ministers etc., the duty is decided and through classical intelligence one attains self-respect. This is the purpose of the scriptures. 18॥
