पिता वै गार्हपत्योऽग्निर्माताग्निर्दक्षिण: स्मृत:।
गुरुराहवनीयस्तु साग्नित्रेता गरीयसी॥ ७॥
अनुवाद
पिता को गार्हपत्य अग्नि, माता को दक्षिणाग्नि और गुरु को आवाहन अग्नि का स्वरूप माना गया है। माता-पिता आदि त्रिगुण अग्नि की महिमा सांसारिक अग्नि से भी अधिक है। 7॥
Father is considered to be Garhapatya Agni, mother is considered to be Dakshinagni and Guru is the form of invocationable fire. The glory of the threefold fire of parents etc. is greater than the worldly fire. 7॥
