गुरुर्गरीयान् पितृतो मातृतश्चेति मे मति:॥ १८॥
उभौ हि मातापितरौ जन्मन्येवोपयुज्यत:।

लेकिन मेरा मानना है कि गुरु का स्थान पिता या माता से भी बड़ा है; क्योंकि माता-पिता केवल इस शरीर को जन्म देने में ही उपयोगी होते हैं।
But I believe that the position of a Guru is even greater than that of a father or mother; because parents are useful only in giving birth to this body.
