इसके बाद उन्होंने विभिन्न देशों से आये हुए तथा वहाँ मरे हुए सभी अनाथों के शवों को मँगवाया और उनके हजारों ढेर बनवाये। फिर विदुर जी ने राजा की आज्ञा से उन सभी का दाह-संस्कार घी और तेल में भीगी हुई लकड़ियों से स्थिरचित्त लोगों की सहायता से चिता बनवाकर करवाया।
After this, he called for the bodies of all the orphans who had come from various countries and had died there and made thousands of heaps of them.
