मेरे महारथी पुत्र पाण्डुपुत्र अर्जुन के भय से, जिसे योद्धा आगे भेजकर हाथियों के समान पाण्डव सेना से युद्ध करते थे, वही वीर सव्यसाची अर्जुन के द्वारा रणभूमि में उसी प्रकार मारा गया है, जैसे एक सिंह ने दूसरे सिंह को और मदोन्मत्त हाथी ने दूसरे मदोन्मत्त हाथी को मार डाला हो॥4-5॥
Out of fear of Arjuna, son of Pandu, my mighty car-warrior son, whom the warriors used to send in front and fight with the Pandava army like fighting elephants, that very hero has been killed by Savyasachi Arjuna in the battlefield, just as one lion has killed another lion and a mad elephant has killed another intoxicated elephant.॥ 4-5॥
