मातापितृसहस्राणि पुत्रदारशतानि च।
संसारेष्वनुभूतानि कस्य ते कस्य वा वयम्॥ २१॥

इस संसार में हमने बार-बार जन्म लिया है और हजारों माता-पिता तथा सैकड़ों स्त्री-पुत्रों का सुख भोगा है; परंतु आज वे किसके हैं अथवा हम उनमें से किसके हैं?॥ 21॥
We have been born again and again in this world and have experienced the happiness of thousands of parents and hundreds of wives and children; but today whose do they belong to or whose of them do we belong to?॥ 21॥
