वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं - हे राजन! तत्पश्चात सेवकगण राजा धृतराष्ट्र के शौचादि कर्मों को पूर्ण करने के लिए उनकी सेवा में उपस्थित हुए। जब वे शौचादि कर्म पूर्ण कर चुके, तब भगवान मधुसूदन ने उनसे पुनः कहा -
