हे राजन! जब आप परम गति को जा रहे हैं, तब हम तीनों आपके पीछे-पीछे नहीं जाएँगे, इसलिए हम स्वर्ग और धन दोनों से वंचित हो जाएँगे और आपके पुण्यकर्मों का स्मरण करते हुए दिन-रात शोक की अग्नि में जलते रहेंगे॥ 39-40॥
O King! Since we three are not following you while you are going to the ultimate destination, we will be deprived of both heaven and wealth and will keep burning in the fire of grief day and night, remembering your good deeds.॥ 39-40॥
