इस प्रकार गुरुजनों ने सब मनुष्यों को सदा से यही उपदेश दिया है। परंतु मैं उस शास्त्र-विहित सनातन मार्ग का उल्लंघन करके, मार्ग से हटकर चलकर तथा इस अनुचित कर्म का आरम्भ करके भयंकर संकट में पड़ गया हूँ॥ 23 1/2॥
‘In this way, the Gurus have already taught this to all people forever. But I have fallen into a terrible problem by violating that eternal path prescribed by the scriptures, by walking without the path and by starting this inappropriate action.॥ 23 1/2॥
