कथं हि वृद्धमिथुनं हतपुत्रं भविष्यति।
न ह्यहं पाण्डवेयस्य विषये वस्तुमुत्सहे॥ ११॥

हाय! अब जब हमारे पुत्र मारे जा चुके हैं, तो हम वृद्ध पति-पत्नी कैसे जीवित रहेंगे? मैं पाण्डुपुत्र युधिष्ठिर के राज्य में नहीं रह सकता।
Alas! How will we, the old husband and wife, survive now that our sons have been killed? I cannot live in the kingdom of Yudhishthira, the son of Pandu.
