राजा सुहोत्र ने राजसूय और अश्वमेध जैसे अनेक यज्ञ किए और समुद्र पर्यन्त सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी का भोग किया, जो हाथियों, घोड़ों और अनेक प्रकार के रत्नों से परिपूर्ण थी। जब राजा सुहोत्र धर्मपूर्वक प्रजा पर शासन कर रहे थे, तब सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वी हाथियों, घोड़ों, रथों और प्रजा से परिपूर्ण थी। राजा सुहोत्र के शासनकाल में पृथ्वी उन पशुओं के भार से डूबती हुई प्रतीत होती थी।
King Suhotra performed many sacrifices like Rajasuya and Ashwamedha and enjoyed the whole earth up to the sea, which was full of elephants and horses and was rich in many kinds of gems. When King Suhotra was ruling the people righteously, the whole earth was full of elephants, horses, chariots and people. During the reign of King Suhotra, the earth seemed to be sinking under the weight of those animals.
