श्राद्ध में तीन चीजें शुद्ध मानी जाएँगी- पौत्र, कुतप और तिल। इसके साथ ही तीन गुणों की भी प्रशंसा की जाएगी- पवित्रता, क्रोध न करना और जल्दबाजी न करना। और श्राद्ध में तीन प्रकार के लोग- भोजन करने वाला, परोसने वाला और (वैदिक या पौराणिक मंत्रों का) पाठ करने वाला भी शुद्ध माना जाएगा।
Three things will be considered pure in Shraddha- grandson, Kutpa and sesame. Along with this three qualities will also be praised- purity, non-anger and absence of haste. And in Shraddha three types of people- the one who eats food, the one who serves it and the one who recites (Vedic or Puranic mantras) will also be considered pure.
