ययाति बोले, 'हे मनुष्यों के स्वामी शिबि! जिस प्रकार आप इन्द्र के समान शक्तिशाली हैं, उसी प्रकार आपके लोक भी अनन्त हैं। तथापि मैं दूसरों के दिए हुए लोकों में नहीं रह सकता, इसलिए आपके दिए हुए लोक को मैं स्वीकार नहीं करता।॥9॥
Yayati said, 'O lord of men, Shibi! Just as you are as powerful as Indra, similarly your worlds are also infinite. However, I cannot live in the worlds given by others, that is why I do not welcome the one given by you.॥ 9॥
