ययातिरुवाच
इमं भौमं नरकं ते पतन्ति
लालप्यमाना नरदेव सर्वे।
ते कङ्कगोमायुबलाशनार्थे*
क्षीणा विवृद्धिं बहुधा व्रजन्ति॥ ४॥ |

| ययाति बोले - नरदेव! जो लोग अपने मुख से अपने पुण्यों का बखान करते हैं, वे सब इस पार्थिव नरक में गिरते हैं। यहाँ वे गीध, सियार और कौए आदि के खाने योग्य शरीर पाने के लिए बहुत परिश्रम करके क्षीण हो जाते हैं और प्रायः पुत्र-पौत्रों के रूप में विस्तृत होते हैं। 4॥ |
