गुरुओं की आज्ञा का पालन करने से मनुष्य को पुण्य, स्वर्ग और जीवन की प्राप्ति होती है। इंद्र ने अपने गुरु के आशीर्वाद से तीनों लोकों पर शासन किया था। गुरु रूपी पिता की आज्ञा पाकर मनुष्य अपनी सभी मनोकामनाएँ प्राप्त कर लेता है।
‘Obeying the orders of the Gurus provides virtue, heaven and life to humans. Indra ruled the three worlds with the blessings of his Guru. By obtaining the permission of the father in the form of Guru, man attains all his desires.
