अयं स पुरुषव्याघ्रो रणे वसुपराक्रम:॥ १०॥
यस्य बाहुबलं प्राप्य न भवन्त्यसुहृद्गणा:।
अनुवाद
वहाँ उपस्थित स्त्रियाँ उसे वज्रधारी इन्द्र के समान समझकर आपस में इस प्रकार कहने लगीं - 'मित्रो! ध्यान से देखो, यह वही नरसिंह महाराज दुष्यंत हैं, जो युद्धस्थल में वसुओं के समान पराक्रम दिखाते हैं और जिनकी भुजाओं का बल शत्रुओं का नाश कर देता है।'॥10 1/2॥
The women watching there thought him to be like the thunderbolt-wielding Indra and began talking among themselves thus - 'Friends! Look carefully, this is the same man-lion Maharaja Dushyant, who displays valour like the Vasus in the battle-field, and whose strength of arms wipes out the existence of the enemies.'॥10 1/2॥
