देवल नामक प्रसिद्ध मुनि प्रत्यूषा के पुत्र माने जाते हैं। देवल के भी दो पुत्र थे। वे दोनों क्षमाशील और बुद्धिमान थे। बृहस्पति की बहन स्त्रियों में श्रेष्ठ और ब्रह्मवादिनी थी। वह योग में तल्लीन रहती थी और आसक्तिरहित होकर संसार में विचरण करती थी। वह वसुओं में आठवें वसु प्रभास की पत्नी थी। 26-27॥
The famous monk named Deval is considered to be the son of Pratyusha. Deval also had two sons. Both of them were forgiving and wise. Brihaspati's sister was the best among women and was a Brahmavaadini. She remained engaged in yoga and wandered around the world with no attachment. She was the wife of Prabhas, the eighth Vasu among the Vasus. 26-27॥
