तब उपाध्याय ने कहा, ‘पुत्र! दोनों अश्विनीकुमार देवताओं के वैद्य हैं। तुम्हें उनकी पूजा करनी चाहिए। वे तुम्हारी आँखों को ठीक कर देंगे।’ उपाध्याय के ऐसा कहने पर उपमन्यु ऋग्वेद के मंत्रों से अश्विनीकुमार नामक दोनों देवताओं की स्तुति करने लगा।
Then Upadhyaya said, 'Son! Both Ashwinikumars are physicians of the gods. You should worship them. They will cure your eyes.' On Upadhyaya saying this, Upamanyu started praising the two gods named Ashwinikumars with the mantras of Rigveda. 56.
