उपमन्यु को उस अवस्था में भी स्वस्थ और बलवान देखकर उपाध्याय ने पूछा - 'बेटा उपमन्यु! मैं तुम्हारी सारी भिक्षा ले लेता हूँ, फिर अब तुम अपना निर्वाह कैसे करते हो?'॥40॥
Seeing Upamanyu healthy and strong even in that condition, the Upadhyaya asked - 'Son Upamanyu! I take all your alms, then how do you sustain yourself now?'॥ 40॥
