तेन ह्यनपराधी स दष्टो दुष्टान्तरात्मना।

अनुवाद
यद्यपि तुम्हारे पिता महाराज परीक्षित ने कोई अपराध नहीं किया था, फिर भी उस दुष्ट सर्प ने उन्हें डस लिया और वे वज्र से घायल वृक्ष की भाँति तुरन्त गिरकर मृत्यु के मुख में चले गये।
Although your father Maharaja Parikshit had not committed any crime, yet that evil serpent bit him and like a tree struck by thunderbolt he immediately fell down and went to the jaws of death.
