ताभिर्नागलोक उपधूपितेऽथ सम्भ्रान्तस्तक्षकोऽग्नेस्तेजोभयाद् विषण्ण: कुण्डले गृहीत्वा सहसा भवनान्निष्क्रम्योत्तङ्कमुवाच॥ १५३॥
अनुवाद
उस समय सम्पूर्ण नागलोक धुएँ से भर गया। तब तक्षक भयभीत हो गया और अग्नि की लपटों के भय से व्याकुल होकर वह दोनों कुण्डलों को लेकर सहसा घर से बाहर निकल आया और उत्तंक से बोला - ॥153॥
At that time the entire Nagaloka was filled with smoke. Then Takshak became frightened and being distressed by the fear of the flames of the fire, he suddenly came out of the house with both the earrings and said to Uttanka -॥ 153॥
