राजन! वह दिव्य सुन्दरी अपनी अद्भुत कांति से शोभायमान हो रही थी। इस महान आश्चर्य को देखकर कुन्तीपुत्र धनंजय अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुए और उस स्त्री से इस प्रकार बोले - 'कल्याणी! तुम कौन हो और तुम्हें जलयोनि कैसे प्राप्त हुई? तुमने पूर्वकाल में ऐसा महान पाप क्यों किया था, जिसके कारण तुम्हें यह दुर्भाग्य भोगना पड़ा?'॥13-14 1/2॥
King! That divinely beautiful lady was radiating with her wonderful radiance. Seeing this great wonder, Kunti's son Dhananjay became very happy and spoke to that lady thus - 'Kalyani! Who are you and how did you get the aquatic form? Why did you commit such a great sin in the past due to which you had to suffer this misfortune?'॥ 13-14 1/2॥
