परन्तु राक्षसों ने दुर्योधन के इस प्रयत्न के विषय में भीमसेन को बताया। तब बुद्धिमान धर्मराज के व्यंग्यपूर्ण वचनों से अत्यन्त क्रोध में भरकर धृतराष्ट्रपुत्र दुर्योधन सरोवर से बाहर आया और भीमसेन के साथ गदायुद्ध किया। ये सब घटनाएँ शल्यपर्व में ही हैं। 284-285॥
But the demons told Bhimsen about this attempt of Duryodhana. Then Dhritarashtra's son Duryodhana, filled with great anger by the sarcastic words of the wise Dharmaraja, came out of the lake and fought a mace fight with Bhimasena. All these incidents are in Shalya Parva only. 284-285॥
