इसी प्रसंग में यह भी कथा है कि परम दयालु और सर्वज्ञ भगवान श्रीकृष्ण करुणा से परिपूर्ण होकर स्वयं शांति स्थापना हेतु संधि करने के उद्देश्य से हस्तिनापुर नामक नगर में आये थे ॥231॥
